When the engine is off, the camera enters low-power mode and watches for impact, motion, and vibration. When triggered, it records a locked clip from before, during, and after the event. Requires our hardwire kit (sold separately) so the camera can draw a small standby current from your fuse box. The kit includes low-voltage cutoff to protect your starter battery.

SD card compatibility

Will it fit my car?
Yes for virtually any passenger vehicle. The mirror dash cam mounts over your factory rear-view mirror using two adjustable rubber straps and fits mirrors approximately 8 cm to 30 cm wide. Pickups, SUVs, sedans, RVs all work.
Do I need a hardwire kit?
Only if you want parking-monitor mode (camera records while the car is off). For normal driving recording, the included 12V cigarette-lighter cable is enough. The hardwire kit is sold separately and takes about an hour to install.
Does the CarPlay work even if my car doesn't have factory CarPlay?
Yes. The CarPlay receiver is built into the mirror — it does not depend on your car's head unit. Any car with a working iPhone (iOS 7.1+) and a 12V power source supports it. See our CarPlay compatibility page for a list of tested vehicles.
How large an SD card does it support?
Up to 256GB high-endurance microSD. A 64GB card is included in the box, pre-formatted. Always format new cards in-camera before use — never on a computer.
